The Miracles of Jesus — Bible Adventures with Sammy

Imagine standing on a hillside as five loaves become a feast for thousands. Imagine holding your breath as a man walks on crashing waves. Imagine the joy of a blind man seeing light for the very first time. In Bible Adventures with Sammy, your child can do just that.

Dr. Shala Hughes invites children ages 4–8 to experience the life of Jesus through the eyes of Sammy—an energetic eight-year-old with a heart full of wonder. This single volume brings together twelve beloved stories, taking readers on an unforgettable journey through Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.
Sammy is there for every moment. He watches the water turn to wine at Cana and sits by the Pool of Bethesda as a man walks after 38 years. He climbs a tree with Zacchaeus, marvels as Jairus’s daughter wakes from death, and learns about gratitude from the one leper who returned. He discovers the heart of the Good Shepherd, watches a rich young man make a difficult choice, shouts “Hosanna!” at the Triumphal Entry, and learns that faith is as simple as reaching out to touch the hem of Jesus’s cloak.
